Valentine’s Day is always an interesting holiday for me. Growing up my mom always did cute things for us for every holiday and Valentine’s Day was no exception. My mom always had a little something for us every year. It was usually our favorite candy, a card, and sometimes a little something special. I remember when I moved away to go to college and Valentine’s Day approached. My mom surprised me with something and I did not expect it at all. It meant so much to me! Valentine’s Day gifts do not always have to be elaborate and grand. Giving your friends and loved ones something that comes from the heart can mean more than an expensive gift. When I decided to put together a gift guide, I knew I not only wanted to include gifts that you could buy but also gifts that you can make and do. Also, if you still need Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration, check out last week’s post! You can read it here!

Valentine’s Day Gifts For Her:

Valentine’s Day gifts for her are always a fun thing to shop for. Whether you are shopping for your love or your Galentine, there are plenty of amazing options! I included both under the “for her” section above. There were some really fun options this year including fun socks, friendship tickets, and even a makeup eraser! Easy ideas for the lady in your life are always perfume, a manicure and pedicure, and anything makeup related. If you want to do something thougtful, get a nice picture frame and frame a recent photo of you two together. It will mean so much! You can also rent a movie the both of you will like and cook dinner at home and stay in. The opportunities are endless!

Valentine’s Day Gifts For Him:

Valentine’s Day gifts for him are a little more tricky. It all depends on what your guy is interested in! When I give gifts, I always like to think about what people truly need and then I like to add something fun too. For example, when is the last time your guy got a new wallet or money clip? If his wallet looking a little rough, replace it! Other options for him that I also included are a new belt, a beard maintenance kit, and my favorite cologne. For something fun, I included a putt returner. If your guy is into golf this is an awesome and affordable gift. This gift has some great memories for me because I can remember when my Dad got one of these and he, my brother, and I would play with it in the living room all of the time. Is your guy into sports? Get him a shirt or a new hat and surprise him with tickets to watch his favorite team play. If that is not in your budget, which is totally understandable, just get him a new team shirt or hat and watch the game at home with snacks and drinks. He will love it!
