Raise your hand if pink is your favorite color! UM, SAME! The fact that pink is one of the main colors people associate with Valentine’s Day helps make Valentine’s Day one of my favorite holidays. I knew I was definitely going to have a pink outfit when I was trying to decide what to wear for a Valentine’s Day themed post. I absolutely love how this Valentine’s Day outfit turned out!

Why I Love Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just one of those holidays. You either love it, or you hate it. I think it is all about what you make of it to tell you the truth. Last year I talked about my outlook on Valentine’s Day, and I also rounded up some amazing lip colors that would look great on Valentine’s Day in this post. I love to celebrate my love for those that I truly care about. Valentine’s Day is a great reminder to help me do that. In previous years I have gotten together with my Galentine’s to celebrate. We have had some amazing nights filled with laughter, friendship and maybe a little wine. This year I will probably be doing the same thing! I honestly have a lot of fun every year for Valentine’s Day. The holiday itself is funny, tacky, and ridiculous but I love every second of it! Um, hello! Who doesn’t love chocolate, candy, and heart-shaped foods? Come on! Heart shaped pizza anyone??

Outfit Details!

I love the colors that represent Valentine’s Day. Especially considering pink and red are both some of my favorite colors to wear. For this Valentine’s Day inspiration outfit, I ended up borrowing this adorable overall dress from one of my roommates. It was absolutely perfect for this look! This dress came from H&M but I linked a few different options that are really affordable! I went shopping for blog outfits last week, and when I saw these heart shaped sunglasses I knew they were coming home with me! These sunglasses scream Valentine’s Day and they are under $10. I plan on wearing them throughout the spring and summer months coming up ahead. My tassel earrings were a steal at Altar’d State a few days ago. Can you believe they were only $4?? SCORE! They are not in stock online but if you have a store near you I definitely recommend checking out the sale!
