Hi y’all! October is here and I could not be more excited! The temperature has cooled down a little bit in Austin (keyword here being little) and it has been so nice! It has also rained quite a bit which makes shooting outfits and wearing cute outfits interesting but hopefully October won’t have as much rain. I have been loving fall neutrals like orange, mustard yellow, olive green, and navy and I included some of those colors in my outfit for today’s post. I had the BEST time shooting this look with my very dear friend Julia! If you are in the Austin area and need a photographer she is incredible! 10/10 would recommend! Anyways, we shot this flare jeans look at a super cute coffee shop on West 6th in downtown Austin and it was such a fun time. I honestly had never even noticed this place and I have been on West 6th more than I’d like to admit. The coffee shop is actually owned by Sandra Bullock and it is called Walton’s Fancy and Staple. A cup of coffee was super affordable and I would highly recommend checking this place out if you visit Austin! I felt incredibly sad that I let this gem of a place go unnoticed for all of the three years I have lived in Austin. I realized I definitely need to be more aware of the world around me.

Alright alright alright, sorry I had to, let’s get to the fun stuff! This is probably my favorite outfit to date that I have shared on the blog! I am so excited with how this outfit turned out and I actually felt like a real blogger while I was shooting it.  I found these flare jeans for $2 in a discount store in Waco and I was amazed when I went to Target and saw them there too! (To my Waco peeps: Check out Dirt Cheap! It is super overwhelming but there are some gems in there!) Honestly, I had no idea what to do with these pants when I bought them but they were too good of a deal to pass up! They are kind of flared with a wider leg which I really love. Flare jeans are trending right now so I was really glad to find some inexpensive ones to share with y’all. I also have a post about other things that are trending this fall which you can read here. Finding a shirt that I liked to go with these pants was a challenge and I ended up throwing on this crop top that was hiding in the back of my closet and I was amazed at how cute it ended up looking. I have had this denim jacket for YEARS from when I worked at American Eagle and it is one of my favorite items in my closet. I honestly do not wear it that often, but I loved it for this look. I have wanted to try the baker boy hat trend for a while but I really did not think I could pull it off. I wear ball caps a lot in my everyday life when I do not feel like messing with my hair but I was not sure how a baker boy hat would look on me. These baker boy hats are now my new favorite for more dressy outfits! I want one in every color!
