Hi y’all! I am so excited to share this week’s post! Camo is a print that I have always loved and I am so happy that it is trending this year! Camo is such a versatile print and it goes perfectly with so many colors, especially in the fall. The outfit I am sharing today was literally thrown together right before a shoot and I honestly was not excited for it. I did not even know if I would actually post it, but when I got the pictures from my photographer Julia I was ecstatic! I truly love how this outfit turned out! Putting together outfits for the blog can be so hit or miss for me. I sometimes visualize an outfit in my head and think it is going to look great until I put it on and realize something is not right. I did not even try this outfit on before I shot it! How crazy is that? It is so funny how life works out sometimes!

The star of the show, my camo skirt, was a STEAL for $5 at Forever 21. I could not believe how little I paid for it or how cute it ended up looking for this outfit. I actually bought it to wear for my birthday when I went shopping the day of, and when I got home I realized I looked like I was trying out for a Destiney’s Child cover band. I threw it in the back of my closet and thought I would never wear it. A few weeks ago I scheduled a shoot with my dear friend Julia but did not have time to go shopping beforehand. This skirt saved the day! I love how this look turned out! I usually stick to casual outfits because that is what I am comfortable in, but after my flare jeans post, I was feeling brave! I now want to elevate the outfits that I share so that I can help y’all take fashion risks and try new things too. If I can do it, y’all definitely can! 

Camo can be intimidating just like any other trend, but if you start with something small and pair it with neutrals you can create a super stylish outfit!
