Helloooooo friends! So sorry for being MIA I just cannot get it together for the life of me. I am trying to work on getting back to blogging regularly but it has been a little rough. Anyways, a few weeks ago, I had the amazing pleasure of being a hair model for Kristen Lumiere, a local hair stylist here in Austin and it was SO much fun! I have always wanted to give a stylist complete creative freedom with my hair but I have never been brave enough to do it. I saw a post on Facebook (totally not creepy at all I know, but taking big risks over here) from a stylist that needed a hair model for a class that she was teaching. After I cyberstalked Kristen like an FBI agent, check out her Instagram here, I decided there was a small chance I would walk out of the salon bald or with green hair. I went to see her at her salon in Westlake for a pre-class trim and consultation and was so glad to see how amazing she was! A few days later, I arrived at KaRue Salon where the class was being taught and mentally prepared myself to let someone I had just met via Facebook come near me with hair tools and bleach. Life is all about taking risks right? The morning flew by as I got to hear and experience Kristen’s amazing technique for coloring hair. After a few hours at the salon, I walked out with gorgeous hair with subtle balayage that looked incredibly healthy. I was completely shocked at how well the whole experience went and was amazed at how much I loved my hair. I am a HUGE critic for haircuts because I love my long hair and have had some traumatic haircut experiences. I cannot remember the last time I have loved my hair this much and am so glad I took a risk with letting Kristen transform my hair. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Plus she has an amazing personality to boot!

What do y’all think of my new hair? Would you ever be a hair model?
Thanks so much for reading!
