I am so excited to share this week’s post with y’all! So sorry I missed last week! To say last week was crazy would be a HUGE understatement. I had my first Chem exam (your girl got a 97) and I worked tons! Things are about to get even more crazy as I get closer to heading back to Austin to start my fall semester at UT. I have my birthday, ACL, and my BFF’s wedding among a ton of other things to look forward to and prepare for. I am hoping I will be able to keep the same schedule going for y’all!

This week’s post is all about Function of Beauty Hair Care. If you have not heard of Function of Beauty you can check it out here. Function of Beauty was kind enough to send me my own personalized set of Shampoo and Conditioner to test out for y’all. I first went on the website and took a quiz to help them figure out what set I needed. I told them my hair type, hair structure, and scalp moisture level. After that I picked five hair goals: replenish hair, lengthen, anti-frizz, curl definition, and soothe scalp. After that I chose the name for my formula which was Function of Kelsey, the color of my set which was pink of course, and the scent which was sandalwood violet. I loved being able to customize my set and know that it was unique for my hair. I also love that Function of Beauty Hair Care is free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, GMOs, and triclosan. The shampoo does not lather a lot which is normal for a sulfate free shampoo and does not really bother me. The conditioner is a bit thinner than I am used to but it has not negatively affected my hair at all. I think both the shampoo and conditioner work really well. I have noticed a difference in my hair and have been letting it air dry so I can rock my natural waves.

If you would like to get a personalized set from Function of Beauty for yourself you can do so here and get $5 off!

Also, shoutout to one of my bff’s Alayna for her major braid skills! Seriously you rock and I love you!

Did y’all like this post? Have you tried Function of Beauty? If not, what are some of your favorite hair products?
