Woah when did August get here? I will be moving to Austin in two weeks and I am excited but also super nervous. I will miss my family and friends so much, but I am ready to be out on my own so that I can experience new things. The month of July was full of fun and adventure! My family and I went to the beach for the Fourth of July, and I went to Austin for orientation at The University of Texas. I cannot wait to see what happens in August!

Beauty:

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: Love using this to set my makeup to keep it from sweating off in the Texas heat.

Benefit Watts Up: Seriously an amazing highlighter! It is a cream so you will not look powdery and it blends into your foundation like a dream.

Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Polish in “I Need a Refresh-mint” and “Heatwave”: Both of these nail polish colors have been my go to’s this month. They are the perfect summer colors!

Hair:

Frizz Ease by John Frieda Secret Weapon Styling Cream: I use this product pretty much everyday on my hair after it has dried to tame frizz.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment: I use this as my conditioner and it makes my hair super soft which I definitely need in the summer after the amount of time I spend at the pool.

Style:

Ray-Ban Aviators: I know, I know I really did not need another pair of Ray-Bans but I just could not help myself. They were on sale and they were too cute when I tried them on. I have been wearing them non stop this month.

Old Navy Palm Leaf Shorts: If I could have worn these shorts everyday this month I probably would have, but that is frowned upon so sadly I did not. Palm Leaf Print is not going anywhere if you could not tell already tell, and these shorts are the perfect way to showcase the trend. Plus they are high-waisted so they are for sure a winner.

Random:

Gold Sea Urchin Decor: Love this and it will for sure be used to decorate my room in Austin. I found mine at Hobby Lobby but you can find them at other places as well. It can be hung on the wall, or it can sit flat on a table.

Tazo Passion Tea: This stuff is so good and I found myself craving it anytime I passed a Starbucks so I decided instead of paying $4.50 everyday I could buy it from HEB and make my own. My mother should be so proud.

What were some of the things y’all loved this month? I would love to know!

Until next time,

-Kelsey
